After Your Eyelash Extensions: What You Need to Know

The first 24 hours are crucial for your new eyelash extensions. The glue is still setting, so you must avoid all contact with water, including washing your face, showering, and shampooing your hair. Getting your lashes wet too soon will cause them to fall out prematurely.

Bad Habits to Avoid

To ensure your lashes stay beautiful for as long as possible, please avoid these habits:

  • Do not rub your eyes. Rubbing them can cause the extensions to fall out easily and may damage your natural lashes.
  • Do not use oil-based products. Avoid oil-based cleansers or creams around your eyes, as the oil weakens the adhesive and causes the extensions to detach.
  • Do not curl your lashes. Your extensions are already curled. Using an eyelash curler will damage and break them.

Proper Care and Cleaning

Taking care of your new lashes is easy. Just follow these simple steps

  • Clean gently. Use a special eyelash foam cleanser and a soft brush to gently clean the base of your lashes, then rinse with water.
  • Brush daily. Use the spoolie brush we provide to gently brush your lashes every day. This keeps them neat, tangle-free, and looking fluffy.
  • Sleep on your back. Try to sleep on your back to prevent your lashes from getting pressed or crushed.
